We provide creative and professionally produced Hawaiian weddings on internet stream, DVD or Blu-Ray. Whether on outer islands or for a Maui wedding, we keep a laser-like service focus on four very specific groups of people:
- the Maui wedding couple who has planned to travel a long way and at great expense to be on Maui with the one they love;
- the viewing audience of our Maui wedding webcasts, DVDs and Blu-Ray disks who take the time to be a part of the Maui wedding experience;
- the Maui wedding planner who believes in us and our work enough to recommend us to their valued clients;
- the Live Maui Webcast team who’s creative drive and inspired service drives every production.
THE MAUI WEDDING COUPLE
Planning a Maui Wedding from afar without any personal inside local knowledge or a great wedding coordinator can be a frustrating and intimidating experience. Brides and their grooms-to-be sift through long lists of planners, vendors and their myriad packages, offerings and “deals.” For many couples, the initial query can be a negative experience.
This world is full of tangled information, misinformation and charlatans waiting to pounce on unsuspecting couples. That’s why Live Maui Webcasts insists our interactions begin right from the start with the honest intention to serve and provide valuable insight regarding Maui as a whole, Maui weddings and our work (which we guarantee).
Trust and rapport established over the phone or email, our dedication to help make your Maui wedding experience a joy continues with a confidence inspiring welcome packet, rapid responses to inquiries, clear communication and most often a first-to-the event area promptness (which is particularly beneficial for Maui beach weddings where we can select the best spot for you).
If you have toured our website, you may have noticed that we constructed it with this philosophy at heart: clean and clear.
At the wedding, couples are put at ease by our professional focus, yet easy-going Aloha style. We hear couples say it again and again: “my husband and I were both nervous about what to say during our webcast shootouts and interview, but the interviewer made it as easy as chatting with someone!”
It is through this trust we must first earn, that we are able to pull things off on production day and garner as many positive Maui wedding reviews as we do.
At the end of each wedding shoot, if we are not bid adieu with grateful smiles and fond Aloha or if upon receipt of our maui wedding webcasts, DVDs or Blu-Ray disks, we don’t receive enthusiastic thankful praise, then we have not done our jobs correctly. Here’s just one example of the hundreds of satisfying Maui wedding videos.
It’s that simple. Our personal and professional DNA steers us towards helpful service and fresh, creative work. It’s where we long to be.
In addition, the raison d’être for our live and on-demand webcasts is to help you and the ones you love create shared memories and bonds through common experience. That is simply priceless. Maui is so far away from everything, so bringing your celebration to family and friends is meant to enrich everyone’s lives.
THE VIEWING AUDIENCE
Let’s face it: not everyone is a computer genius. When it comes to technical things, many of us are still stuck on learning how to program our VCR’s!
For them, we clearly communicate what to expect come wedding-day and how to successfully view the Maui wedding couple’s Maui wedding webcast. It starts simply with the intended audience signing up to an email list through which we send wedding date reminders and clear instructions on hardware and software requirements.
Come wedding day, the audience logs on to a specific webpage at our website and follows simple instructions:
- Log into the chatroom about 20 minutes before the Maui wedding.
- Wait for the technical admin.
- Test the feed when the admin is ready.
- After the test, stick around for a tour of the islands with our HD camera showing the sights and sounds of our island home and surrounding islands (depending on the vantage point, we give context background to the area, Kahoolawe, Lana’i, Molokini and Moloka’i); our knowledgable moderator provides information to the scenes.
- We bring the live feed back up prior to the bride walking down the aisle as anticipation builds. At this point people in the chatroom can barely contain themselves, they are so giddy!
- The Maui wedding webcast is broadcast in a clear resolution (for the geeks amongst us: we stream anywhere from 300-700 k/sec) at 640×360 pixels (wide format) and the audio is a crystal clear feed from the wireless microphones placed on the groom and minister. On a side note, PLEASE PLEASE PLEAE be aware that most all other live webcast offerings on Maui DO NOT utilize a professional video camera, pro audio and professional MacBook Pros, and instead rely on simple cell phones to send a small and painfully grainy image with dreadful sound.
- After the ceremony, the newly minted bride and groom send their love, shootouts and Aloha to the viewing audience.
- We then switch the camera view to a wide shot, as the main camera goes off tripod to collect footage used for the DVD or Blu-Ray.
- And finally we thank everyone for tuning in and when they can expect the on-demand portion of the webcast to be ready.
- Usually that night or the next morning we will have the ceremony video up online for on-demand archived viewing.
Many in our viewing audience setup viewing parties in which they hook up their internet connected computers to a large screen TV to show the event for 10,20 and even 59 people (as witnessed during a wedding on December 23rd, 2011. That’s pretty cool.
THE MAUI WEDDING PLANNER
We live on an island. Where would we be without supporting one another and sharing each other’s gifts?
Maui wedding planners are the key to brides and grooms learning about us. It’s with their referral and vote of confidence that Maui wedding couples are introduced to our website, are encouraged to call us for help and guidance and ultimately book our professional Maui video services.
We owe it to our professional partners to provide first class service with Aloha and smiles, as well as a product that enchants and captures the essence of the wedding. Wedding couples dissatisfied with a vendor will ultimately rate their coordinator experience less favorably as well. We must make good on our partner’s trust in us.
And the other way around too: we choose to work with planners who love their job and have wonderful sunny dispositions. Who wants to work with a drag?
THE LIVE MAUI WEBCASTS TEAM
To do creative work on a sustained basis, you need to be inspired by your job. In addition, the job must be able to provide sustenance to our team’s families as well as fund the admittedly expensive Maui cost-of-living.
Our world today is riddled with McDonald’s-like assembly plant goods and services. That’s no different in the world of weddings. Some planners and vendors — whether consciously or unconsciously — have chosen the route of high-volume and cookie-cutter Maui wedding services. Mechanization and standardization are everywhere.
We want our Maui wedding production experience and our post production time to be a fun experience that drives the making of a special product for our clients. No two videos are ever really alike: Interview responses, music choices, locations and amenities all make for a new and fresh experience.
Believe it or not, we are STILL — after over 10 years in weddings — not tired of hearing Maui wedding couples share their promises and vows with one another. Every wedding is different: some more sincere, mature and full of love and some hasty, absent-hearted and erroneous (I know it sounds harsh, but the national divorce rate of over 50% makes itself noticed in our line of work).

There are so many wonderful Maui wedding spots to chose from. This is the Grand Wailea Wedding Chapel.
To continue to innovate, expand our production capabilities by procuring the newest cameras, dollies, steadicams and techniques, we must love our job and make it profitable. If we fail in this mission, Maui is left without the only truly professional live webcast business and another video business closes its doors.
IN SUMMARY
