Man Steals from his Fiance and Runs Off to Hawaii to Marry Someone Else

From the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram:

“A 39-year-old woman told police she met Jackson in Prescott in September 2008. He eventually moved in with her, and they planned to marry Dec. 31 in Las Vegas. He said he had a job interview in South Dakota and flew out of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

The woman then realized her laptop, cell phone, suitcase and $4,200 diamond ring were missing, and Jackson had used her credit card to buy an $800 one-way ticket to Hawaii. Reports indicate Jackson married a woman from Russia while in Hawaii and had used the Pierce County woman’s credit card for a hotel, flowers, flights and other expenses.”

Jackson, if you’re going to leave your fiance for a Russian mail order bride, don’t leave a trace. Ohhh boy ohhh boy.

Jackson faces 1 and 1/2 years in prison and the victim from a broken heart. At least we won’t have to see him back in Hawaii for another 1 and 1/2 years.
